ABOUT THE EVENT
A true milestone for Brazil and especially for the Vale Europeu Catarinense. More than 20 countries per season, 60,000 participants on 5 continents.
More than 2,000 athletes have already participated with us in 2 editions, 2023 and 2024. An event that brings together professional and amateur cyclists enjoying an incredible route through the Vale Europeu Catarinense with Start and Finish in the Historic Center of Pomerode, SC.
We bring to Brazil the UCI Gran Fondo World Series with official UCI approval where the proposal follows the world standard of organization in a CLASSIC ROAD CYCLING race.
The company RIDERS BIKE CNPJ 51.518.146/0001-64 is the official and exclusive holder of the UCI GRAN FONDO WORD SERIES license in Brazil and organizer of the event. The event is officially held in the city of Pomerode/SC, located in the European Valley region of Santa Catarina, and is the sporting event called "UCI GRANFONDO POMERODE BRASIL".
This event is included in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series calendar and is the only official road cycling event for "non-professionals/age groups" qualified in Brazil for the 2026 UCI Gran Fondo World Championship.

The UCI Gran Fondo World Series consists of several sporting events around the world and is regulated by the International Cycling Union, in the UCI Cycling for All regulations, Chapter V.
The first edition of the UCI GRANFONDO POMERODE BRASIL was held in Brazil on November 5, 2023, and the second edition on November 10, 2024, with the due authorizations of the International Cycling Union and the Brazilian Cycling Confederation.
THE RACE
Art. 1º - The UCI GRANFONDO POMERODE BRASIL 2025 will be held on November 8, 9 and 10, 2025 in the city of Pomerode/SC and consists of two types of race:

Race: GRANFONDO 120km* - Road Cycling/Road Race - Altimetry +1000m
Start: 7:00h - Maximum race time: 5:00h (average of 24km/h)
Start/finish location: Pomerode Cultural Center/SC
Race: MEDIOFONDO 80km* - Road Cycling/Road Race - Altimetry +600m
Start: 7:00h - Maximum race time: 4:00h (average of 20km/h)
Start/finish location: Pomerode Cultural Center/SC
Race: MEDIOFONDO 80km* - Road Cycling/Road Race - Altimetry +600m
Start: 7:00h - Maximum race time: 4:00h (average of 20km/h)

*Routes may undergo adjustments and improvements throughout the year, and may vary up to 20% more or less, in altitude and distance.

The UCI GRANFONDO POMERODE BRASIL will be held on November 8, 9 and 10, 2025 and will consist of two types of race:

GRANFONDO 120km to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series (2025 World Championship):
19 - 34 years old, male and female
35 - 39 years old, male and female
40 - 44 years old, male and female
45 - 49 years old, male and female
50 - 54 years old, male
55 - 59 years old, male
*Category 15-18 years old, male and female = PARTICIPATION without qualification for the World Championship.
MEDIOFONDO 80km to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series (2025 World Championships):
50 - 54 years old, female
55 - 59 years old, female
60 - 64 years old, male and female
65 - 69 years old, male and female
70 - 74 years old, male and female
75 - 79 years old, male and female
80 years and older, male and female
*MEN'S OPEN (15 to 59 years old) PARTICIPATION categories without qualification for the World Championship

KIT DELIVERY AND UCI GRANFONDO EXPO
The UCI GRAN FONDO BRASIL arena will open on November 7, 2025, and the kits will begin to be delivered.
