Created by journalist Cásper Líbero, the 99th edition of the São Silvestre International Race will be held on December 31, 2024 in the city of São Paulo, covering a distance of 15 km through the streets of São Paulo.

Times: Kit pick-up times will be published on the race website ww.saosilvestre.com.br or via the email registered at the time of registration at least 3 weeks in advance.

The General Platoon's starts will be made in waves according to the pace chosen at the time of registration and will be announced in advance on the website and in each athlete's registration email.
Athletes must go to their starting point at least 45 minutes in advance. An athlete who starts the event after the scheduled start time may be disqualified and prevented from participating in the event.
PARTICIPATION OF ATHLETES AGED 60 AND OVER
Aiming for the best experience for participants and considering the increase in the number of frauds publicly witnessed and disclosed in previous editions, in which a person aged 60 or over registers and subsequently transfers the registration to third parties, this year there will be a special area in the delivery of kit to better serve and verify the documents of the person registered in this category. For classification purposes, easy recognition and monitoring, the bib number of this category will be differentiated. The arrival of the Race will also have cameras to identify all participating athletes.
